Post your dog drawing course questions here

HERE
If you have a question during a drawing, feel free to post your semi-completed drawing along with the question. It is often easier to help you when we can see what your drawing looks like at that stage.
Have fun and

Aloha Everyone,
Well, I'm excited! Never drew an animal before and in fact, never really drew- period.
I'm ready to draw my 4 grand dogs! What do I need besides recycled paper, drawing pencils and a kneaded eraser? Actually I have a brand new Strathmore Bristol pad, and DickBlick.com is where I shop from, no Michael's here.

If you bought the course, just go to your unlocked classes and Nolan will explain everything you need in the first video. You are going to love this!

Details
HOKU, my newest granddog is on the far left celebrating his doggy mom's 4th birthday. His mom is in the middle with the red bow and the others are his remaining Havanese siblings. Hoku went to spend Thanksgiving with his dog family at the home of the dog breeder while his human family (my daughter and her family) went to Disneyland for their Thanksgiving! It's unbelievable that they all posed for their picture!

I just LOVED the photo also! I have never, ever painted animals before. In fact the dog course is the first class I'm taking to LEARN HOW TO DRAW! I'll try one dog at a time, maybe a nose or dog's eye or something like that first!
Val, YOU surprise me/us and I'll bet you can do this one!

I'll let you know after I get through Nolan's dog! I'd sure love to try it if the photographer doesn't mind.

It really is an INCREDIBLE photo! The dogs seem to be better behaved than some humans. Goes to show you the importance of good training beginning at a young age!

Liz,
That is such a cute photo. How did anyone get the dogs to sit for that?
I'm sending it to my sister. She loves dogs.
