Great work, Ladies    Excellent considering that they were paint-a-longs O0

If the introduction to pastels is starting off like this then I just have that feeling that this year is going produce a ton of first class  :painting:

Wow. . .what a class!! Thank you Dennis. . .you really are the energizer bunny aren't you! ....I started out trying to draw & watch but gave that up part way through the first green blob I did. . . . .I'll wait for the replay where I can slow you down to a walking pace. . . .

Sorry about that, I'm so used to working fast that when I think I've slowed down a lot I'm still too fast for most  :help:

Thank you so much Dennis and Nolan for this wonderful class. I followed bouth on youtube and it worked perfectly. I like the way Dennis takes care of his materials. Everything in its place and a longer life! LOL
This was my first contact with the pastels. I never tried before. It was a very good class to get a general vieuw of what you can do. I must go and buy some pastels. I will do that when I go to France next week because I have not seen any pastels here in the village. I have some "pastel gras" that I got as a present a few years ago, but it is not the same thing. I read that on the forum.

Dorothy. . . . how lovely to see you again!!! Have missed you and Snowy, or was that Blacky?? ;D
Tremendous work with the pastels and congratulations for keeping up with Dennis, and doing it so perfectly!! Some of us (me!! :2funny: ) are just so darn slow that Dennis would have to slow down to a snails pace for me to keep up and everyone else would be bored to death and he would only get one apple done in the whole class time!! I am talking s-l-o-w!!!
I live to draw and paint, it a good thing that I don't have to draw and paint to live!

Thank you Bev. It's been a long time. I've missed the interaction.

Wow Dorothy, I absolutely love your work, looks just awesome and perfect to me. Unfortunately I fell asleep and my partner let me sleep. Life costs a lot of energy these days but looking at the drawings..I wished he had woke me up, well I'll wait till the replay.

Bev,  Slow....did you say slow? I'm still working on dog #2 !!!  :faint:    You're going to have to slow down a bit more if you're going to stay with me and Riya!  ;D

Excellent work Dorothy, you're going to do very well with pastels.  O0

Thank you Sue, I guess you could say I 'took' that apple and made it my own!         :2funny:

Yeah, I am really slow, just saw your lovely dog and tree drawings Val...I think I didn't even finished the Let's Draw Course :( due to that stupid accident. And to get the hang of drawing lefthanded I started again ...still with the Christmasballs  :2funny: .

Wished I could follow one of these new courses  :( , the Watercolourclass or start again with the Acrylics class, but the hospitalvisits last year, due to my epilepsy and the last accident, left me with a huge...HUGE bill. The nexts two years all my pocketmoney goes to the Hospital  :tickedoff: ...I really have to take care of no more accidents...just can't efford them.

So, thats why I am so very happy with these few free lessons :yippee: , really give me the boost to pick-up the pencils again.
PS, I still hope I will finish the challenge drawing from this month in time  :smitten: .

Riya, between my eyes and your hands.... if we could switch out body parts, we might just come up with one good artist!  :heeha:

I'm being daring, but I'm going to have another go at some of these pastel exercises...will see if I can keep it off my face this time!  ;D

I'll watch the replay tomorrow I think, or maybe right now. Looking at the drawings made...it has to be a full and colourful show  :)
