I think you did quite well.  Especially like the rocks in the foreground.

The front porch looks a bit wonky, but that adds to the character!!

Thanks Mea   :)  I totally lost all the pencil sketching took a wild guess at the rocks and the porch.. and all the edges.. going to have to be more careful of those edges or I get totally lost.. along with the edges.. :)

Still an excellent painting for a first try :clap: :clap: :clap: You need to add the sunlight on the grass and on the side of the tree and the building O0 No pencils to be used in these exercises until much further on. This is done for a reason. ;)

thanks Dennis.. actually I did add, but maybe not enough, I will add some brighter color to it.. didn't use pencils

Getting all of the verticals correct is a challenge....personally, I just blame it on my vertigo!  :think: 'course it could be the rum has a bit to do with it!  :whistle: :2funny:

ROFL..  rum huh.. that would have an effect on verticals.. all kinds of them.. thank you for your kind comments.  hmm personally, I think I hold my head crooked.. that's my story and I'm stickin to it.. LOL

This is my first time with this medium. I know it's not that good. In fact it's bordering on terrible. LOL  I have to learn how to use these right and I'm sure it will take lots of practice. One picture at a time.
