Hi, Diane. Your drawing is excellent!
For the shoreline, I think it may be up by your tree where it still looks a little straight. I am no expert, but want to share this idea with you. Perhaps you could let your gorgeous old tree's roots affect the land. It could have caught a lot of sand over the years and lifted the ground a little. It could also have caught enough sand to add a little curve into the river by punching into the shoreline just a bit.

Good job leveling the hill, the shoreline on that side just needs to be a little bit more irregular.

Thank you val , I am going to fix it up once I am done work
, I think I had in my head I didn't want to make the opening by the tree to wide but now I am seeing it's the complete opposite

Diane,
You are improving with every landscape. Now take the techniques and apply them to the landscapes in your community. That will help you internalize what you have learned. Plus you will have easily recognizable drawings to give or sell to others.

Thank you mea I felt I didn't struggle as much with this one . That is great advice ! It is something I have tossed around for the future , we have an artsy trendy market here to possibly sell at. Don't think I am quite ready for that quite yet
