Hey Nolan,
Thanks for the lesson. I was not able to stay. But what I saw was good. I did learn some new things. I guess we are never to old to learn. Will watch the replay. Thanks again.

Those basics is so important, even after I have done it a million times, I always go back and do some basic techniques still from time to time.

Absolutely fantastic Nolan,
It was such fun to see the stuff from the Let's Draw course again, I had forgotten so much of what we had done!

well done Doina.
see if you can get the one or two transition lines on the bottom row away, get where the 2B and 4B meet.

For some reason I was unable to get on today, even though I did get on the Pastel class
. But, I see the replay is already up so I'll at least get to see that.
It sounds like it was another fun class!
Thanks Nolan!

oh yes, like from day to night. I am tired now, but tomorrow I'll do at least 2 more, and correct the tonal chart. Good night, Doina

Nolan, I wasn't able to attend the live presentation, however have just watched the replay and I must say the quality of picture and sound was excellent. Congrats! On a really good introduction to drawing.

WOW
1) The studio set up / cameras are fantastic
2) The info was presented in a superb way. Clear, concise, understandable AND repeatable by US.
Thank you so much. And your statement about drawing being essential, for me is spot on!!!
Some people find it hard to believe that
Pablo Picasso was a master draftsman!
I am looking forward to the rest of the course.
Again, thank you!
Brian
P.S. have worked both sides of the camera And your setup is outstanding

Hi. I'm new here, having just found this site last night. Since then I've watched two of the free videos and plan on purchasing the Let's Draw course as soon as I feel like I've mastered the basics.
While I've done these exercises before, I haven't drawn in about five years due to a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis - so now I'm having to learn from the beginning all over again, with hands that shake slightly. Do you have any tips that might help making my lines straighter? I find that when I flick, the line is relatively straight and even, but when I draw with more control it wiggles back and forth a bit. So frustrating!
Anyway, I just wanted to drop a note so I'm not lurking around, I'll put some examples of what I mean on the page I drew my ball on and post it below (my scanner is apparently terrible! will use a camera next time
