beautiful drawing Karen
Below is my draw-along sketch. I stopped drawing, after I was able to see that I can do it. For this I used a lower quality of paper (65lb). Now I am re-starting on a regular 90lb drawing paper. Doina

Hi all here is what I got achieved this morning (well morning for me anyway
) during the live lesson.
Couldn't comment on live fee but I have now sorted that
I can see that my little flap of peeling skin on the left needs some more work as it is lost but I am feeling positive at this point.
Karen and Doina they look great
Karen you can really see the layers on your one. Doina I haven't tried with different qualities of paper, does it make a big difference?

Sigh, Life gets in the way and now I am behind by 2 classes for the live drawing classes
Had a death in the family this past week and funeral today
Hope I can catch up this week
I will be at the next live class (if the 'pencil gods' allow)

Nolan I was wondering if there is anyway that you can give us the original picture with the template so we can work on our drawing while we wait for the replay.
Doina and Karen great job. I have get mine on here.

Thanks, Nolan, for posting the final picture. It's easier when you can "see" the tonal range, rather than only seeing what you are putting on paper. I got lost a couple of times ... lost lines, heck...I took a wrong turn!! LOLOL
Thanks.

I had to leave for a meeting so only watched the first part of the Garlic and Onion Show. I have my template ready, waiting for the replay.

Well, I did it
I had fun last night, couldn't chat because I don't have, and want, a Google account. Had some diffuculties by holding my pencils, had to turn the paper almost up side down
. But I think I didn't draw that bad at all...Practised before on the chart, that one is almost done too.

What do you think? I did work on it a little more last night and some this morning, so Thank you so much Nolan, for uploading your finished drawing, (and did see the cute little doggie again
), that will help a lot.

Lisa and Doina, thank you so much for the wonderful comments
. I had fun but a hard time too
these 'stupid' pencils felt sometimes so
in my hands, but I just kept trying, the biggest challenge was not to press too heavy on my pencils. I just finished my chart and sphere, looks so much better then my first left attempt in 2013

Well, all you ladies need a huge applause for the wonderful onions that you did. Karen, yours was the first out and I was astounded, excellent onion.
Doina yours is looking fantastic so far, as is Lisa's and Riya, you are one special lady being able to draw so very well with your left hand .... better than what I can draw with my right hand. You are indeed an inspiration to us all.
Good job everyone.

Nolan for a fantastic lesson and your generosity which is much appreciated.
Here is my rendition of the lesson. My drawing was off in a few places. However, your helpful comments/critiques are always happily received. Many thanks, Patricia
