My apples are done I just need to Photograph them. Not sure they are very good, tough one, those apples.
Have Master Gardener class this morning, will take picture of apples this afternoon.
Nice job seen on those who have posted already.
Nolan was right, its not easy, quite a lot of work.

in other words the contrasts where too high - not often I say that, usually the contrasts are too low, but with apples...

They look good to me. They seem shiny enough.

Lisa, don't fiddle, they are PERFECT as they are. Excellent job.
Sue, you also did a good job on your apples, I don't know how I missed them.
I think that everyone's apples were done very well which is testament to Nolan's expert teaching.

Cyril you are such a good artist. Your apples are expertly done as all of your work is. It is a pleasure to look at what you do. I have the same problem in that my sketch book paper is very rough, I had to shade and shade and shade in order to get rid of the tooth as the skin of my apples looked like the skin of an orange with all the pock marks. I would actually prefer drawing on smoother paper. Patricia
