Dorothy
, a very good painting
Unfortunately you have lost the highlights on the grassy area in front of the huts. If you take a piece of bread and roll it carefully over that area it will lift out the darker pastel and lighten it up. If done properly you can even add some yellow for the sunlight.
May Lynn
, Also a very nice painting
What really worries me are the hills in the background. You have made them look like "soldiers in a row" - the same with the clouds, they are all virtually the same size and equally spaced.. You can still change them by using the bread technique.

Thanks, for your insight Dennis.
I tried more than once to make the clouds
look varied and stormy.
As for the mountain; I was so focused on getting the shading right I forgot
the Golden Rule to "Avoid soldier in a row".
I'll have another go at fixing the clouds and mountains.
I'll check the replay to find out about the bread removal technique.

A good attempt at the 3 huts May Lynn. Pastels take getting used to but you have done a good job. Keep going.

Thank you all for your help.
I took Dennis' advice and tried a little touch up.
I eliminated one mountain bump, and I had another
go at the clouds. I may have to sign up for a cloud
class as I don't seem to know where to begin and when
to stop!!!
Touched up painting

Love your three huts pastel. It's sort of impressionistic. Just soft and dreamy.
