Harald,

I like the way you got her hair to shine.  I got it lighter, but not shiny.

Good job.

Harald, nice job on the dark hair.  Really captured the shine well.

Dorothy, the straight hair is well done and you have a good start to the curly Blonde.

Mea,  also a good job on the straight hair.   I'm impressed.

Patricia, Dorothy, Danielle, Jillh, mea, and Jay3 many thanks for your encouraging comments.
Dorothy you`ve drawn both the portraits and not just the hair. Impressive.
mea I think Your hair is dark enough and like all you create, beatifully executed.
This is a challenging and fun exercise. Credit to PB.

:thankyou: Mea, Jill, Jay, Harald, Patricia. I'll have to start over again with the curly hair, I'm very disappointed with the results. That's what I get for trying to draw a 1am in the morning.  :2funny:

Dorothy, don't be disappointed for you did very well and at least you gave it a go and besides all that, you drew your models .... excellent!!  Be proud of yourself.  Curly hair is difficult to do and you are not the only one who has struggled with it.   Wait 'till you see mine.   :crazy2:  I don't know whether I should even post it for it is awful but hey, we are all learning and I think one has to have such patience with drawing curly hair.  Val said a very true thing when she wrote to me saying that if I don't post my work, how can anyone help me.  So true.   Anyway, you did a great job Dorothy.  Hope you are enjoying your vacation.

    Mea, an excellent drawing of the straight hair, you got the colour so dark which if lovely, mine turned out kind of like brownish.  Anyway, I will be posting mine but it is still quite dark out to take photographs. Can't wait to see your curly model.

Here is my straight hair drawing. I am not sure how to attach both drawings at once so will have to go back and submit the curly hair version.  Hope I have attached them correctly.  We will soon see.    Patricia
