Good job Patricia, nicely done.
I missed the first 1/2 hour, but according to Nolan's post I didn't miss much at all! That makes you a real wizard Nolan!
All of your efforts are much appreciated by one and all.

Val, I too missed a lot but came in just when Dennis was finishing the body proportion parts. I really enjoyed the lesson. Patricia

Danielle, you will love the pastels once you get into them. Just give yourself time with them and practice, practice, practice as Dennis and Nolan always tell us. Patricia

This was a tough one. I think my pastels of varying softness, some of them are difficult to apply.

Harwant,
Your pastel looks good despite your having not-the-best pastels to use.

Beautiful job Harwant!
I've read that the different minerals used for pigment colors handle differently-just one of those things I guess.

SCORE!!!
I went digging in my art boxes for something for my classes.....and came across a large unopened drawing pad AND it says it's good for pastels!! I had forgotten I picked it up a couple of years ago in Martinique as Dennis had mentioned he would be doing pastels at a later date.
I've just downloaded the pdf for this lesson and going to give it a go. No guarantees on the colours...but what the hey...abstraction applies to pastels as well, right?!
