Good job Patricia, nicely done.

I missed the first 1/2 hour, but according to Nolan's post I didn't miss much at all! That makes you a real wizard Nolan!  :heeha: All of your efforts are much appreciated by one and all.  :yippee:
Cheers, Val

:thankyou:  Danielle, you will love the pastels once you get into them.  Just give yourself time with them and practice, practice, practice as Dennis and Nolan always tell us.     Patricia

This was a tough one. I think my pastels of varying softness, some of them are difficult to apply.

Harwant,

Your pastel looks good despite your having not-the-best pastels to use.

Beautiful job Harwant!  :smitten: I've read that the different minerals used for pigment colors handle differently-just one of those things I guess.

SCORE!!!  :heeha: I went digging in my art boxes for something for my classes.....and came across a large unopened drawing pad AND it says it's good for pastels!! I had forgotten I picked it up a couple of years ago in Martinique as Dennis had mentioned he would be doing pastels at a later date.
I've just downloaded the pdf for this lesson and going to give it a go. No guarantees on the colours...but what the hey...abstraction applies to pastels as well, right?!  :2funny:
