PA - LESSON #8 - Figures in Pastel

  Dennis and Tousabella.

I couldn't resist having a go at attempting to to fix my tree.....However, daylight has now gone here, so I will wait until the morning to take another photo and post again.

Dennis - perhaps the art of being able to 'fix' is part of being an artist 

Tousabella - I am totally enjoying using pastels as a medium. Fun and frustration can be found, all at the same time lol

Yes, that's much better now. 

Main thing is that you learned not to make a tree in that manner again, so you can move on.

If you practice trees for a while, you will feel more comfortable with them.  I still struggle with trees, but am determined to master them.  Wish they were all alike - so many different shapes to learn.

Very good!!!  Yeah....Practice, practice.  LOL   I have trouble 'fixin' too, but as we go along, I can "see" what I have to add or take away.  It's so much fun!!

I should have put the persons more to the right in the picture, but they moved faster than me

Nice work on this.

You really did capture their brisk pace.  I really sense their movement.

Maybe add some leaves to cover some more of the trunk at the top.  Either that, or a strong wind sheered them all off!!!!

The distant mountains appear to be all the same tone.  Try varying to give some more distance.
