Jill and Jennylynn both of your paintings are excellent. Gosh, I can't wait to do this lesson for you have all done so well. I especially love the actual scene and the sky is interesting.

Jill love it.
Jennlynn I think you did fine. Especially when you follow Dennis.

Jennylynn,
Your West Coast Farm pastel is very nice. I love your liberal use of the blue hues.

I meant to crop this painting and my apologies for the blue tape still being on it!! Anyway, thank you Dennis for a very interesting lesson which I so enjoyed especially the way you taught us to do the sky. Comments and critiques are always most welcome.
Thank you, Patricia

Patricia,
I like how you made your mountains kind of misty in the background.
My eye was immediately drawn to the circular path (driveway?) around the front of the house. It seems too bright.
Otherwise, it's lovely and bucolic.

so much Mea. As I posted it on the forum, I thought so too. I don't understand why I can't see these things before taking the photograph. I will tone it down for sure and another thing I noticed is that the one little garden seems to be smack in the middle of the path!! Oh! Boy, perhaps I need new glasses or a magnifying glass because I see all these things AFTER I have posted the painting. Thanks anyway for your valued input.

I love everyone's painting-a very dramatic subject with Dennis' sky.
I meant to pop in again after class, but I ended up in the hospital. I'm now recovering from some abdominal surgery and my hubby was kind enough to bring me my computer. I'm hoping to get out of here soon and be in next week's class.
