Well, pastels just do not seem to be my thing. I gave this a try and never got to finish. Too little time...too many rocks.
I did use pastel pencil (Faber-Castell Pitt) and still found it too messy for me.
Here is all I was able to accomplish, although Dennis gave a really good lesson.

Mea, don't give up on the Pastels for you have done a great job. Everything takes time to get used to and you have the potential.

Thanks, Dennis. May give pastels a try again. I am exposing my senior citizen class to all media at some point (except oil -too messy to wash brushes there).
