This was a good lesson, I learned a lot with the grasses and bushy areas. I like the way my stream turned out too.

I Think I am getting addicted to pastel painting :) Another painting today :)
Dennis, I love the South African themes. It was my dream destination and I made it on 2013. I have a lot of travel photos, hope to paint them in the future.

Well, here is my paintalong.  I struggled with the rocks Dennis and totally got lost so mine looks different than your great, great rocks!!! Boy, I need to buy a set of pencils.  Using only sticks is a challenge. Fun as always and a good lesson.  Thanks  :)

Selen you have a wonderful feel for the pastels :clap: :clap: :clap:

I never brought in the pencils to the lessons for quite some time. The reason is that you first get used to working with the sticks.
You cannot do very large paintings with just the pencils alone. Pencils are there to do the finishing touched and finer details O0
