I have a commission to do a friends dog, so I did this one as a practice.

Nice painting Alan :clap: :clap: :clap:, i would add a bit of shadow under the dog, even if it is just a practice.

The brown seems to be bleeding too much red unless it's the lighting when you snapped the photo or just the way my laptop displays it.

Looks a good forerunner to your commission. The features all look good, it has the same colouring as my friends old dog.  O0 Just take your time with the fur and you'll do very well.  :clap: :clap: :clap:
