oh i succeeded!!! this is the reference photo i worked with. it is very personal drawing your loved one ,but i can say how rewarding it was and so much inspiration i have had. i am now going to attempt drawing my younger daughter. the hard part is getting them to let me take photo's!!!!.

Brony,
Your likeness of your daughter is quite good. That must have been challenging.
You did very well.

Hmm I thought I had replied to this post but no sign of it. If it shows up I apologise
I love your drawing, I just wonder if maybe you need to bring the fringe down a little something is not quite right there. You have a very beautiful daughter

Wow, Brony, you have done an exceptional job on your eldest daughter's portrait. You can be so very proud of yourself. I would, however, agree with Lisa in having that wisp of hair coming lower over her forehead, take a look at the reference photo, actually, it may even be the shadow of the wisp of hair. However, your portrait is top class. Excellent job. Patricia

brony excellent job on the portrait of your very pretty daughter
I do agree with the others I think that her fringe should come just a little lower down her forehead, other than that magnifico

great job for a first full portrait Brony
As you gain more experience drawing portraits, you will spot those smaller tonal value changes, then your portraits will have even more depth
