:thankyou: to all you lovely people for your comments , enjoyed doing this and will have a go at doing the dog next but I may not get it done for a couple of weeks yet as I am off to Fiji next week for a drawing and sketching workshop, botanical art in the mornings and sketching around Savu in the afternoons, should be fun and hope to learn a lot.

:thankyou: Val and Dennis , I love these sort of holidays and do one each year mainly W/C ones as these are readily available but I have always loved drawing and doing flowers so this should be just my cup of tea. Enjoyed the Farmhouse Dennis but because I had done my first one freehand I had problems with the roof , hoping the dog will turn out okay as I will try freehand in pencil and see how it goes. Will let you know how my trip went when I return so bye for now.

You are right Val,

I'd forgot to view this one from a distance.  I 'll fix the shading under
the porch with a little crosshatching!!!
