Nice work on the paint-along, Ladies.    I do not know how you did  so. I could not keep up with Dennis , just finished 1/4 of the painting at the end of the class. :'(

Here is my rendition. I had a lot of fun with this one   :thankyou: Dennis!!
I am not truly satisfied with the copy I posted. :-\ My original painting has more greens on the mountains and soft edges on reflection under the rocks.

All the best. :)

Lidiya,

I like the colors in this painting.  Just one thing bothers me -- the reflection of the rocks in the left foreground looks more like the submerged portion of the rocks than a reflection.  Does anyone else see it that way?  Maybe it's an optical illusion.

Lidiya, very nice painting    You have done the sky very well and the waves and the surf O0

I'm not sure if the photo has been taken at an angle or the horizon of the sea is sloping in the painting. The horizon must be completely horizontal.

The distant rock should be a bit more blue-purple in it to push it further into the distance.

Brony and Jennylynn, both very good paintings

Both of you have done nothing wrong as such. The white pastels you are using are not the very soft type. Remember I mentioned that I would be using a very soft pastel for the waves.

Jennylynn,

Nice job on the sea surf pastel.  Both your rocks and Marielle's are more like what mine should be.
