I hope you got yours drawn in JennyLynn!  Nolan has been quick to put up the replay if you didn't have time.  O0

Enjoyed the lesson Dennis-I really liked the effects of getting those darks in first.

    Natalie and Jennylynn, Well done both of you.  I am afraid that I am "rock" challenged even with my hand being held.  I have a mental block with rocks for sure.  Also, I have a kind of silhouette around my rocks with pastel which looks horrible.  Anyway, this is my humble submission:

Your cliffs look like cliffs to me Patricia!  O0   I think you did a great job on the transition from the left side of your painting to the focal point.

You've got the basics there, Jennylynn.  :congrats:  Better luck next time.  Can't wait to see the next one!

:thankyou: Natalie!  I sure hope life slows down so I can do this one!

Patricia, looks good to me!  I really love the clouds!  It's all good!

Very nicely done Natalie, nice waves and texture in the rock face.  O0 Speaking of which.... the headland rock looks a bit like a gorilla face!  :o Did you have Zilpa there?  :heeha:    ;D

Jenny, I understand about wrong colours!  :hang: Never you mind, you'll get it put to rights on the next one.  O0
Have some lovely rock textures regardless.

Patricia, other than a very slight halo effect around the rocks, I think you've done a great job. The waves and the splash on the rock are excellent.
Cheers, Val

I dont see the gorilla, but I do see a man walking his dog giving the clouds a worried look.

At the end of the lone rock face. A gorilla looking out to sea.  No?  Ok, now I'm getting worried!  :eyesclosed:     ;D

Natalie, Jennylynn, and Patricia,

Very nice searocks, ladies.  After struggling with little rocks all week, I am impressed that you ladies handled the big stuff so well.  It's amazing how all three are different, yet equally stunning.

Leave it to Val to see a gorilla.  What an imagination.
