Fi,

I think you did a very good job on this. Such a fascinating rock formation.

Love all the seagulls.

Maybe a bit more white in the clouds to address Robin's concern about the blueness.

A break here and there in the waves might add more drama.

Overall, it looks like you learned the lesson well.

Fiona, it's a lovely painting.  If you look 'to sea', you'll find that all waves don't come in rows.  Maybe break them up a little and add some smaller ones in between.
It's really a great picture.

I agree with Bella's advice. I would also pick out a few more highlights and add them on your rock.

Very nice painting Fiona. I agreed with everyone on the clouds, needs a little bit more of them and some "baby" waves. Good job!!

Cyril,

The rocks are super well done.  Lots of craggy texture to them.  Maybe just add a bit more variation to values on the top side of the sloping rock on the left.

Waves aren't bad, maybe just some darker contrast under the white foam here and there to break up the solid line look.  Maybe another break or two like that really good one on the left.

The deep blue water along the horizon seems to be an eye grabber.  Maybe tone it down just a bit with some reflected sky color.

This is really well done, Cyril.  A few tweaks short of perfection!

Thank you for your feedback Mea.
You are absolutely correct about the blue horizon. I have corrected it (but not posted) and it looks much better when the deep blue is toned down  :)

Vidar,
The rocks and cliff are stunning, specially the ones to the left, looks like that a big chunk of rock is dipping towards the sea. Keep up the good painting!!
