Tonal ranges and drawing are great.

The fine hairs you have on the right hand side that cross-that would be a nice touch in the rest of the portrait.

Nice pen and ink of the dog, Sharon.  You are doing so well with pni.

Thanks, Mea! I've been posting my PNI on Facebook and tonight someone approached me at an event, said they love my PNI work and want to commission me to paint one of their dog!
Cheers,
Sharon

Thanks Mea! I told him I need to get a few more PNI lessins under my belt first before taking on a commission but it's something now to strive for!
Cheers,
Sharon

Elize,

Wow, girl, you get better every morning!  The dog looks so happy!  His right eye has more of a "set in" look than the left one.  The left eye looks like it needs another fold or wrinkle to make it look set in better.  Not sure what I am trying to say, but if you take a look, I'm sure you'll get what I mean.  And maybe a bit brighter twinkles in the eyes.

Otherwise, your dog looks so well done.

I'm excited for you - you are progressing so quickly.

:coffee: :coffee: :coffee: Oh dear Mea, when I investigated the dog again I saw several "thingies" that suddenly did not seem "right".  I removed the picture to make a few changes!  Watch this space.

Thanks a lot for your advice!
