What size pens are you using? I suggest you get some finer ones as well for the more delicate lines.

 :thankyou:  Dennis for your super comments.  I am using Staedtler 0.1mm, 0.3 mm. 0.5 mm and 0.7 mm pens.  Can't get 0.8 around the area where I live.  Will have to go to the States or up to Toronto area for anything else. Dennis, please let me know what additional sizes I need for I thought that I had all except the 0.8 mm.   Thanks a ton, I'll appreciate that.   Patricia

Patricia those are all OK. Just check that the 0.1 actually gives you a very thin line.

Dennis I checked and my 0.1 does give me a very thin line, perhaps I am unconsciously pressing down too hard?

Well Patricia what can I say, it looks very much like you have added another string to your bow it looks like PNI agrees with you your Long Haired Dog is FANTASTIC I am so pleased that you have been able to draw in PNI and you can see that animals are your forte, please keep it up I cannot wait to see more of your drawings especially if you can do the cat on the log   WELL DONE   :clap: :clap: :clap:   Ray
