The back feathers.  I know they are terrible.  Haven't touched them to try to fix.  Been speculating, but I damaged the paper doing his head just so and don't want to make it worse.  It's something I see anyway.

Thanks Val.  For all your advice also.  I don't see how you pm'd me.  I'll get it though.  With this eagle, I'm not satisfied with the feathers on his back.  They look like stress feathers and I think people would feel that on some level looking at this piece.  It's rough looking, so maybe use a harder pencil, for one.  Maybe roll it all off and get my template out, watch the end of the lesson again, and get it right.  I happy you like him.  He's been fun to sketch.

I also don't see any big problems with the feathers, maybe just ensure the edge of each is defined?

So the eagle is done. What a great class Nolan. I have to admit it took me weeks to finish it but so worth it. :thankyou:
