Excellent Bryndis. The eagle is a lot of work. You have done a great job.

Met my match on this one!  Feels so good!  I'm not happy with his back and return to it later when I figure out what to do.  Just need to leave it for awhile and open to any suggestions and critique.

I like it, you captured it perfectly. There is something about the tonal value that I cannot pinpoint. Where is the light source?

The light source is from the top left.  The back of his head and his back are in shadow.  Also the highlights on the reflective beak.  Thank you for the question.  I like searching out where the sun is coming from.  Like seeing the world in a different way now.

Cindy    O0 for doing this one. The only suggestion I have is more contrast. If you would add some more darks throughout your drawing it would help.

see if you can get a sharper photo of the back area Cynthia, then I will be able to better tell what is bothering you :thankyou: :flowers:

The head itself look stunning though :heeha: :congrats:

I've been trying to upload this eagle's stress feathers.  I keep getting an error message.  I use my phone and have to take a picture and it always worked fine before.  But I will send it when I can.  I haven't forgotten, Nolan.  It's like a brain thing.  Maybe I... say speculation a lot.  The feathers are not laying down nicely.  They look like the eagle is stressed and people would feel that in one way or another.  But... I'll be back asap.  Not today.  Very done with today.  I'm seeing a "family" here....  very cool.

your image file size is probably too large, resize it before uploading and let's see what happens
