Thank you for a great lesson Dennis, I really enjoyed this one. I loved the idea of combining a few different photo's into a composition.

So here is my version of the Hay Bales - all drawn freehand like the Master  :)  Still not sure about that odd post at the edge of the field, it looks more and more like a petrol/gas pump to me!

As always comments, crits and suggestions are most welcome.

Cheers

Fi,

Great job on composing this.

Love how you showed the light shining through the clouds.

Fence post looks like it's got a solar light on top.

Thank you ladies  :)  I really appreciate your encouragement.

Solar powered hay bales ....  thanks for that mental image Mea, it's made me giggle a bit and definitely appeals to my twisted sense of humour  :)

Love the comments :2funny:   Sorry for the late comment. Excellent techniques     You have lost some of the darker contrasts which would give your painting much more punch. Even so a lovely painting O0

Thank you Dennis and Juan  :)

I had another look at this one and agree with you Dennis - I need more darks, so I have added them in and it  looks so much better now :)
