Lisa Gale,

You did a fantastic job on this dog.  The fur is so realistic. He has such expressive eyes.

Good job.

 :thankyou:

Natalie   The secret is I was having trouble finding the right colors and ended up using every brown/red brown I had in my box   :2funny:
 :thankyou:
Mea  My husband actually said he thought my dog needed a brushing!

Lisa, well done      What worries me is that the highlight of the left eye is right  in the center of the pupil instead of to the side like the right eye. Change that and you will have an excellent painting O0

Just don't let your husband smudge the pastel when he brushes! ;D

Darn, just looked at him again - he is so cute (Dog - not husband!)

Thank you Dennis,  I have corrected that highlight and it looks much better.

Mea,  I read your post and laughed out loud.  My husband is now wondering what is going on , on this website :heeha:

Lisa, I jus saw your pooch and he's adorable. You did a nice job on his long hair.

Got ambitious today and decided to do another dog - which was definitely more difficult but it sure is a cutie! Being in PV, I don't have any "stumps", so this blending with my fingers is a bit challenging. Plus I'm realizing since I like pastels I need to invest in better quality pencils and chalks that allow me to create finer lines...
Cheers,
Sharon
