For this class you will need a 16" x 20" canvas. Print out THIS template before the class, but don't transfer it to the canvas yet.

Ok just want to check.....in the PDF it's on 4 pages....is that right or do I need to change it to Landscape to print it?  Just checking as want to be ready in case I wake up in time LOL

yes the template is a tiled page template, so you cut out around the edges (the white where the printer doesn't print) and then use clear tape to stick the pieces together to form a true size image

To decrease mold growth on foam, spray a little bit of vinegar or Detrol (a topical antiseptic) on the foam.

I couldn't keep up-I just don't have palette knife skills.  It would have been funny except I was frustrated.

Great class Nolan-no paint alongs from me until I get this palette knife down.

OK I know this is a little cheeky but would there be any chance of varying lesson times?  I noticed many were at 11pm, 1am, 2am, 6am, etc so perhaps having the next one say 8-12  hours later or so would be fair to those who had to stay up until 2am? 

Just an idea mainly because I was the 5am wakeup person 

Also can we have a complete list of paints etc needed a few days before the next lesson so I can make sure I have everything and any work that needs to be done before the class start eg. Watercolour tracing of the image, transferring onto canvas before lesson etc. so when you say paint I cam.  I  felt ill prepared to be able to do this as had no copy paper and have never done a transfer style painting you did.

It's a 200km drive to get supplies for me so the earlier the better 

Other than this I enjoyed the class very much and you answer quite a few questions regarding this style of painting for me.

Great start for your strawberry paint along Natalie.  I myself was not ready to paint it that willbe for an other time.

question from the class - hue on the tube of paint, eg." Cadmium Red Hue" means that the colour of the paint is the same as Cadmium Red, but Cadium (a poisonous substance) has been replaced with a non poisonous one.
