Sorry about caq4 etc... the computer suddenly refused to scroll, so I vacuumed the keys, and that produced the typos. By the time I had it functioning again,I'd forgotten them. Oops!  ::)

If someone told me ten years ago I'd be painting-especially something like this-I'd ask them what they were smoking.

I still ask that question to this day!  ;D

Congratulations on the awards. Well deserved.   :congrats:

It still blows my mind.  Iirc, you've got vision 'gremlins' and I do, as well.  We adapt and find a way.

LOL.  I wondered, then put it down to thought consideration.  Cheers.

So happy you saw it through to the end.  It turned out so beautifully.  How nice of your teacher to take care of the frame for you.

Ahhh,,, a job well done.  Thanks for sharing the process with us.

Sort of lost contact with this over the past few months-

So what a finish and what a painting.

Well done Stoney.

My instructor's a neat lady.  The whole class is fantastic.  We all assist one another.  Didn't realize I've been gone for this site this long.

Any awards is 'gravy'.  I'm glad people had a chance to see them.

Once a month at a local restaurant there's a base retiree's breakfast.  You buy your own.  Last month (I hadn't been able to be there for awhile) one guy said he was at the fair and went to the art exhibit hall just to see that large painting.  He got a kick out of it.

Going from working on F-16's and benching the electronics to oil painting I guess is unusual.
