Nice work, Natalie.  Did you cleverly hide the rip?  I don't see it.

Love the earthy colors.

 Oi !!! I thought I'd just jump in for a go.... :nono: bad idea...  :2funny: Spent the whole two hours and still hadn't got the little middle bit finished where the person is!  :faint:  I'm definitely going back to the beginning lessons. I've to hand it to you guys...not an easy thing to work with in my minute experience, but I will give it a fair go. I did get some of the Stabilo CarbOthello pencils...not liking them much. The lighter colour leads are quite hard and can't get them to lay over other colours.  :cursing: On the other side I do like the way the pan pastels work...I think.  ::)

Natalie you really never cease to amaze.  O0

:thankyou: ladies. You are great encouragers!
Val I bought one of the tools to try out in tight areas. I thought it was very hard to use.
You will probably have to play around with them a lot.
I suspect it has to do with pressure and that sponge material really grabs the paper.

Beautiful painting, Natalie.  It is really inviting, and the brights n shadows are just lovely.  I love your trees.
