Had problem with the computer.... again!      My liege     was kind enough to upload my photo for me. 
Here´s my current update.....  coming along, I keep dreading anytime I am faced with the greens, but I think it´s acceptable. Learning a lot about layering and which colour is best to lay down first.     Incredible the difference it can make.

Thanks so much guys.  Hoping to get back to these sunflowers very soon, need to get it off my easel.... getting bogged down with ideas for more big paintings!     
In the meantime... I finally got the photos from my phone onto the computer! Had to email them to myself! Should have thought of that earlier. 
Anyway, here is Winston. Just a friendly fellow hoping to give you all a little giggle and brighten your day.

  Not sure why... but the background shows as a blue colour, it is actually a light green.

Me too, Val, I get all my photos on the PC by emailing them to myself.  You should have asked.  Anywho,  love your little Winston, he is adorable and made me smile.
