Dear oh dear... I thought I had posted it! Never mind I´ll post it once I finish dusting off Zoe      I have the background, pleased with that... but not doing so well with colours for Zoe. First round did not prove out, so brushing her off and will start again. Love it when I can just dust off the bits that don´t work out and do over..... and over.... and over....  The nose looks pretty good!  :crazy2:       :2funny:
Cheers, Val

Ok... so, things are still not as good as could be, but working on one more round of sorting these baby blues  :coolsmiley:
Anyway, I do remember saying in (PJ adventures), I would show you how things were going with my test run for the large bridge painting. I am doing this on a 7" x 11+" piece of Canson paper. I finally remembered to paint on the backside!!!  :2funny:   It´s been a real endurance test so far, still have some more lights on land to put in, the bridge and light reflections, then the foreground. My one hope is I remember what colours went with what to get those colours!    What do you think? Is the depth perception working okl?

Thanks so much for your comments and input everyone. Apologize for not uploading a larger size... should have used the magnifier so I could see what numbers I put in my program.    Next time I´ll use the magnifier.  :detective:

  Val :1hug: .
WOW!!!  I am so in awe and love with your pastels. Especiaally the tijger, frog and lizard, they look just awesome and so colourful.
But the portrait you have made from Snoopy is really stunning. I thought your drawing was already that great...but now finished in colour...just AWESOME!!! :yippee:
You are just so great with pastels, you have growen so much...absolutely stunning progress you have made.Only today I found this topic and I am loving what you have done :nosey: .
I havent don much in pastels, only a selfportrait, a fun still life, a rose in different kind of pastels, a media technique class years ago, and the first pastel class. I would love to pick up pastels again, but for the moment my budget is very tiny, and I need also some  watercolours. My class 6- mixing colours is done with only a few colours, the last I had after 20 years.
Well, first some watercolours and who knows some great pastels...your paintings are such a great inspiration...It really makes me wat to give it another try. :smitten:
I think I might upload those old pastel drawings :-\
