Aww the photograph is quite dark, but I do see the bridge and it looks excellent to me.  In person, I bet this is great.

Ta much MaryLou, I am still at odds about some of the reflections. Some of the lightest ones aren´t showing at all in the photo.   I have tried taking another dozen or so shots and gave up.  :banghead: This snap is still the best of the lot. It does seem to look somewhat improved after shall we say, a liberal intake of vino! :drunk:     :2funny:     On to the next one!  :painting:

Thanks so much Nolan, appreciate the boost. I am doubtful that I´ll attempt another like this, my eyes just get totally lost and really can´t see the value changes anymore. So best stick with the bright colours and have a hayday!   :D    :yippee:    :2funny:
Going to attempt a parrot next I think, Lloyd bought me a ¨model¨ that can´t get away! He is formed from paper-machete and completely covered with hand cut leather. The beak will need a little work!     :2funny:

How fun!  Love these guys, so colorful. What a nice gift!  Recently went to the zoo and the parrots were amazing. Wow were they loud!

Thanks much Bill.
MaryLou, while in Honduras those Macaws could scare the life out of you when walking through the trees. Never had to work on cardio, they´d make you jump a mile! Here in MX we see lots of smaller parrots and parakeets. Mostly Conures, but they can really put up a ruckus!

OMG, I can only imagine walking along and then having a parrot let out a squawk, I, too would jump a mile! My favorite one was the amazon blue parrot.  I think they are just beautiful but also soooo loud.

I find myself often asking ¨it¨ for an opinion...     :idiot2:   Ziggy will at least answer back sometimes... with this one I have to make up all my own responses!    :crazy2:   I mean, is that really such a bad thing?      :2funny:

I started this one at the beginning of November for ¨Dia de Muertos¨ (Day of the Dead). Finally got round to finishing it in a mad dash to beat midnight New Year´s Eve. Didn´t want to carry any of 2021 into 2022. This I painted in memory of my brother that I lost this past year. I suppose you could say that he was a somewhat colourful character.
This was painted in the style of MXN celebration of the dead. There are many more in somewhat less bright versions as well. Death is certainly viewed and celebrated in a much different way than in North America and other places. Very uplifting.
