Retta, The photo is from morguefile and it does not tell us where it is taken. I suspect it is in Europe somewhere.

Great Bridge's by everyone!!!

Here is my Bridge! ... been a month or so since I did a pastel painting ... it felt good to play with them again!

I still don't have very many pastel pencils so I did my best with what I have so if I didn't have a close colour in the pencils I just broke my sticks and used them!

This was a lot of fun I really enjoyed this class! Thanks Dennis!

Judy,

This bridge painting is lovely - soft and tranquil.

The clump of grass in the foreground seems a bit too squarish - maybe round off the hard edges?

Otherwise, it is pleasant to look at.

Thank you Natalie and Tania! I love nature and all it's beauty ... it brings me such joy peace and tranquillity!

This lesson was special to me as my heart is in doing landscapes and water scenes!

I love the idea of just giving a hint of something ... sometimes it truly is more powerful than lots of detail!

Thank you all again!

And again a very special thank you to Dennis and Nolan for sharing their limitless wealth of wisdom knowledge love and support and for creating this safe haven on PB!  :smitten:

Love it Judy, you did very well.    Maybe you could add some horizontal lines on the water near the bottom for movement in the water.
