The cone shape you see in the photograph is actually a beautifully rounded off buttress that stabilized the structure in the event of floods. There are 2 per side. The one on the right has been screened with the foliage.

My try on the Bridge... I'm struggling with pastels but learning a lot. The rock on the left hand side needs help badly... LOL I think I did okay on the bridge itself.

I have tried pastels a few times, but just do not enjoy using them.
