wow, great tulips Val! I like them.

I forget the drops Mea, they'll come when you're ready for them.

I did my first colour wash on this one, since I was forgotten the cast shadow too, but with a very little paint on a dry brush, maybe even after a few strokes on your kitchen paper, it was 'easypeasy', as Nolan would say.

Thanks for letting me off the hook (at least temporarily for the waterdrops), Germa.  I'll give the was thing a try.

Part 3, in the beginning, just before you do the drops. ;)

I have viewed a lot of the oil classes but never went through them from start to finish so thought it was about time that I did.  I have finished Part 1 and 2 of the Tulip.  Before I add the dew drops, I want to get feedback in case I need to tweek something.

Thanks
Sherri

looks great Sherri :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
what you can do is darken the bottom right hand corner of the flower as that is farthest from the light O0

Nice work, Sherri.  You made it into the dewdrop club.  I still haven't tried those (well, I tried, but failed).

Well done Sherri!

Do you think your water drops fail when you're with your nose on your canvas, or are they still no water drops when you step back a few feet/meter, Mea?

Got to step back to really see the dew drops.  The bigger one looks good from up close.  I was a little worried that I wasn't doing it right.

Thanks all for your complements.

I enjoyed reading about half of the posts on this Tulip lesson right from the beginning yesterday. It was great to look back and, great to see so many people are still on the forum!
