Dear paint basket family. I want to thank each and everyone of you for your kind encouragements. They are much appreciated.
Bella I like the pan pastels very much. To apply them there is a sponge applicator that you use. I have not tried a brush, but that is something I will have to look into. Val I don't think my kids will let you have it.
We have a great teacher. Thank you Dennis. If it was not for paint basket I would never had tried pastels or watercolor.

Excellent, Selen
If you use the back of the paper (smooth side) it is easier for detailed work

Slen,
Your tiger pastel painting is beautifully done. Great whiskers and tiger markings. Good background.
Are the pupils of his eyes that light in real life? Nicely drawn, but look kind of pale.
Nice work on this.

Natalie, Mea
Dennis I understand why Mea says the painting is pale. Rough side of paper does not absorb much pastel. ? need to work on the smooth side.

Great job, Selen. It's so soft looking. Good job on the hair.
