Hi folks, this is a commissioned painting of Fern Pool in Western Australia. I am always a bit apprehensive about commissions, because what you produce may not match what the person had in mind. Sorry the photo quality is not so great.

Well, Neil, I think it is beautiful and very well done.  Maybe the plants growing in the cracks of the rocks need a bit more shading/depth of color to stand out better.

Otherwise,  great job.

Neil this is gorgeous, the rocks look wet, the falls are awsome, i admire your paintings.  Your client will love  it.   :yippee: :flowers:  did you use sideways brush stroke for parts of the fall?

 Neil next time you paint water scene will you share step by step how you are painting it, i would love to see its progressing.  :thankyou:

beautiful Neil :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
Really love the water and waterfall effect
The top left rocks - darken where the top overlaps the bottom one. You have a shading on the bottom flat rock already, but by increasing the contrast you will get a better looking in effect - unless the top rock doesn't overlap of course. In that case it is perfect :D
