Author Topic: Playing around with my Polychromos pencils  (Read 4546 times)

My muse went walkabout, sooo I needed some sort of diversion to keep my mind occupied and my hands busy. . .. . .  doing something other than pulling weds and deadheading Daisies, so I decided to finish this Cardinal. Poor thing has been languishing at the back of the cupboard for about a year now with nothing but the bare bones of his form sketched out!!! For shame!!!! And to think I have all these fabulous Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils just sitting here collecting dust. . . . . .
Northern Cardinal in CP on Drafting Film
The BG is done on the reverse of the Film with pastels to get that "fuzzy" look. :2funny:
I live to draw and paint, it a good thing that I don't have to draw and paint to live!

Nice job, Bev.  The cardinal looks like he did something wrong and is waiting for someone to dare to blame him.  Like how you did the background.
