Someday, I hope to be half as good as you pastel artists  :not_worthy:. Here is my rendition (only my second pastel I believe that was somewhat decent). Maybe my pics are too small. I have a tough time trying to get sharp lines. I bought pencils but I'm doing something wrong with the colors. I bought pastel paper also but I do not like the pattern that shows through.  I do a lot of erasing because my colors are too dark i.e. getting white steam.
