Underwater Painting- Finished
on:

Details
I started this a while back and felt it still needed more added ons. I painted in sea urchins- wana and pencil urchin and a sea cucumber. I usually don't work on an old painting, but did on this one which was a challenge to paint.

Nice, Liz. Sometimes you just have to go back and add those last details.
Good work.

Well done, Liz - and sometimes it's a good idea to put a painting down and revisit it later when you're fresher and have a different perspective...

Everyone for your supportive comments!
There is a snorkeling spot on the Big Island of Hawaii that I like to swim at. Turtles often are seen there where there are even more and larger rocks than these now, especially with serious shore erosion. Kahaluu Beach Park, not far from Kailua-Kona, is the name of the place and where I saw and heard a parrot fish grinding up coral under water!

Perfection Liz
Really makes me miss being home. All I have here is a frog in the pool! Getting incredibly cold (at least to me
) If I have to rescue him a few more times I'll be eligible for the Polar Bear Club!!
Wonderful painting Liz, banner job.

I like your painting Liz. It's great to know you've added more to it and never given up. If I can suggest just one tiny tip, define the top right of it's head with a outline so it stands out more from the tail and the background.
Well done

Val, Bella, Nolan and Tony for your encouragement!
Tony, that is a super idea of giving more definition to the head to make it stand out! Duck soup!
