The Black Cat
This was done in mixed medium as this time I used watercolour paper and painted it black first with my own mixture of acrylics.
I still used coloured pencils for the cat. They tend to show up better on the paint.

Great piece Zilpa  O0   This is what I want to do with Oscar (sister's cat) using the white charcoal on black pastel paper. Seeing this has given me a much better idea of where to start and how to go about it. Still pretty scarey    , but now I think I know how to proceed.   ???    ;D

Thanks for the (unintended) lesson!  ;)
Cheers, Val

I regret that I have not had much art on daily this last week as I have been nursing my mother and not been home. So as I am not on line when I am there, I will be posting what I can when I can.
I did this with a white coloured pencil on black paper. A3 size
