Here is my try at this lesson.  Everything was going well until I went a bit overboard on the foliage.  I also am not happy with the sponging for the background.  Had a few issues with this painting.  But here it is as best as I could rescue it:

Looks good, Mary Lou! My first thought was that you might want to darken the shadows to the left of the path a bit more (only the darkest parts) as well as along the edge of the path but it isn't absolutely necessary... I really like what you have done!  :clap: :clap: :clap:
