Scratchboard is time consuming, but look at the result

This was a trip!!!
This may look a bit different than the other cats here... my sister's black cat (Oscar) kept insisting on posing for me by sitting on top of my ref. picture.
So needless to say there is a fair bit of Oscar in this my first attempt.
I do have a query Nolan. The trace paper I used had a few creases in it and left faint but noticible marks on the board. Silly me decided to try and wipe them away after I finished scratching the cat (on the board, not Oscar). I now have shiny sections on the board. Is there any way to get rid of them or is this one of those 'lesson learned' situations?
Anyway, here is the crossbred PB & Oscar cat!

Beautifull scratchboard cat, Val, Cat are so funny, they sure like to be right on your work or close for attention but they are so cute.
i see no marks on your pic. but maybe you can put black ink, but I have no idea what it looks like except for having done that with paper, wax crayon and ink on top when i was a kid.

Whew, I guess my new lookers are working well
Thank you much Mea & Susan. I'm looking forward to trying some more.
Danielle, it is rather odd. The marks show from any angle except straight on. The light plays tricks! Thank you for your nice comment.
Bellarina, it really was fun....it actually did have some real cat hair for a while!

Val, you have done a fantastic job of this cat. It sure was a fun one to do. I dont know about removing the marks you have on it but i had a problem when i stuck tape on mine like Nolan did. I was left with marks from that.
Keep on scratching, i look forward to the next one.

Ta much Nancy and Sally. You both have done wonderful work with your scratchboarding(?)
There's one for the resume!
Sally, if the next one comes out half as well as yours has I'll consider it a success. Thanks for the lift!
Oh dear....have you seen the newest release? That OWL! Those EYES!!!
Must focus, focus, focus.......!!!!!
