Yeh Natalie, I start to have an anxiety attack while watching, maybe that why I havent started.
I really wouldn't mind if the course just lasted longer instead of the fast forwarding.  :)

Natalie,  an other beautifull painting, great depth and colouring.

Robin, I thought it was pretty fast too and I was discouraged but I read the handouts and it sure helped.  Also watch (speed through)  the video first to get accustmed  to it.  Then paused it a lot while painting.   Hope this helps you into not getting discouraged.

Robin,

I agree with Danielle to watch it and read the pdf manual FIRST.  Then I actually did that a second time once I got the template onto the paper.

I am at the stage where I have to apply the colored pencils; here's hoping that they will make it look better.

Dennis gives a good lesson, but I just don't like foxgloves - never have.  But, I am not going to let that stop me.  I am determined to see it through to the finish, even though I am discouraged that it is not coming out well.

Natalie this is truly a beauty.  So realistic and I do love that red coloring in some of the flowers :smitten:

Mea, I LOVE foxgloves but rather hated them by the end of this :D   I know you will persevere and it will have that wonderful Mea touch!

Thank you, Lynn, Natalie, Dennis, and Danielle.  I appreciate your encouragement.  After dinner when my eyes were no longer weary, I looked at the painting again and it does not look as bad as I thought.

Now off to sharpen my watercolor pencils.

Thanks to all who cheered me on to get this finished.  My colors are a bit off as I did not have the right colors to work with.

While it is far from the advanced level that Dennis was hoping we'd attain, it is advanced for me.  This was the toughest painting I have done so far in my two years of art work.

Off to bed!

Way to go Natalie. Beautifully done.  O0 O0 O0

Mea you did a fantastic job. Nothing wrong with your colors. Foxgloves come in different colors.  O0 O0 O0 Remember it is the technique.  ;)
