Danielle
Robin. I appreciate you taking the time to look and comment.. It was a fun painting and I really have been enjoying getting back to my pastels. The pencil classes are great but I love color !

Val and Nina, Sorry for the delay IN responding. I've gone back to work, blast it! And I find it very inconvenient. But I can't stop working until I get good enough to sell my paintings. Or at least old enough for social security lol.

Danielle I like this. Especially the rocks. Not to green.

Danielle,
Beautiful work on this one.
The clouds are so billowy!
What holds my eye for too long is the diagonal left slant to the grasses and twigs in the lower right foreground. Maybe they are all windblown in that direction, but it might be nice to see a few of them standing a bit more upright.
Just love the mood of this piece. I think your colors really go well with the solitariness of this place.
Another great work by Danielle!!!

This is beautiful Danielle. Your rocks are great. The sunshine on the hill is lovely.

So much Natalie, Nina , Mea and Sally for you lovelly comments and encouragement. I though this one was long and hard especially the rocks. I would not have thought of putting bright colours on rocks.
Thank you Dennis for an other informative lesson.
Dennis for rocks that are in the pinkish/orange what highlight would you put on.
Mea, the twiggs are going that way in the picture, but thank you for noticing and commenting and maybe I will make some tree trunk stand straight.

Lovely Sentinal Painting, Danielle
I would suggest a light pinkish colour.
