Pinuccia you did a nice painting,       one thing I would modify is the left hand side tree, there are branches that are on the house but the tree seem to be in the back because the base of the trunck is to far away, you should bring it down in front of the bridge.  (Check Dennis' painting).  Hope this helps.

  Danielle. I really appreciate your advice. I  had a look at Dennis painting and your so right the trees on the left need modifying. Actually I wasen`t too happy with that side of the painting and you kindly made me see what was wrong. Hopefully I will be able to fix it. Thank you again. Have a Merry Christmas.    Pinuccia.

Do not worry, you can fix it, it is not has hard has people think it is.   

I myself practicaly ruined  my first lesson of the realistic flower by putting a background. It is still not as nice as the white background.  I think I will post it in the first lesson to show that things can be fixed to a certain degree.

  Sharon. I am surprised no one else has done this lesson, was looking forward to seeing other compositions looking forward to seeing them in the New Year. When the festivities are over I will modify the trees and post it. Thank you for all your advice girls much appreciated.. Today is Christmas here in Australia and its turned out to be a lovely sunny day. Going to our Son`s place for Christmas lunch. Loved having such a great lesson to come home to - lot of details, good way to dive back into watercolor painting without getting too overwhelmed.  I'm sure there is lots of room for improvement so please send any suggestions my way...thanks for the great lesson, Dennis!

Pinuccia and Sharon.....you both did such a super job on that wonderful old mill. They are lovely, and you both did such a great job.  Terrific!!

Sharon nice job. I like your trees and your building. The only thing that does not look right to me is the water wheel. The spokes (or what ever they are call) looks like they are angled up. Look at the one Dennis did. You will see what I am saying.
