Hi All,
Posting my, "On The Wing lesson". The paper I used was a Strathmore 80lb and the texture seemed too rough unfortunately. I changed the stones on each side a bit. Please, all comments and crits are well received.

Well done, Juan Carlos
I'm just missing the impression of the trees in the background

Hey, Juan Carlos. Nice to see your work again.
I love the subtle colors on this. Bird and its reflection is so pretty. I like the rocks on the left, but not sure what happening on the right - kind of more like molten lava only it's too repetitive.
But, I really like it.

Nicely done Juan
Perhaps just a few better defined trees(?).

Hi All,
Thanks Val and Mea for your kind words and crits. I am attaching a 2nd version with improved trees in the background. As for the rocks on the right, my first intention was to make a whole rock outcrop as sometimes happens next to the streams and eroded by weather, specially water, rather than big-moved stones.
Dennis thank you for your encouragement and remarks. I didn't want the trees to stick out much but I used some soft brownish and low yellow reflections to show them.

Juan Carlos,
Good job. It has a very mystical feel to it. The rocks on the left look much more natural now.
I really like it.
Oh, what does your signature mean? it looks "Varela."
