Hello everyone.

I have found a spare time during the Holidays to catch up a bit on my pastels. Here is my rendition to the gorgeous Tui. Please, comments and crits are always welcome.

Cheers

Nice work on the tui.  Great eye.  He should be a gymnast the way he can split his legs.  Or is that a fancy dance move?  I love it!

Mea, apparently is famous in NZ for such gymnastic skills!! :2funny:

Dennis, really appreciate your important remarks. All work out those halos around it.

Hi All,

Taking the opportunity to wish you all a Happy Next Year full of blessings.

I tried to get rid as much of the halo as I could on the Tui. Hope this'll make it.

Cheers

Happy New year to you too Juan.  Nice drawing, but I wonder if you were to put a piece of paper over the bird and draw what looks like  a halo arround the head by not worrying about going over the bird since you would have a paper over it, that should get ride of the marks.
