great job Robyn and Annie :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

Robyn - just be careful of the angles of those shadows - they will lie according to the lay of the land as well as the direction of the sun, so if you make their angle too sharp it could make the land look slanted O0

This is my first ever oil painting! I loved working with a new medium!  :thankyou:, Nolan!

I could have done a lot better in many areas but I was all thumbs with a new medium... I will try this tutorial one more time on a later date and see if I have become friends with oil  :1hug:. One thing is for sure, Acrylic matches my temperament better, a lil too impatient for oils... may be it will teach me to be patient, may be will go back to acrylics. Will wait and see ... aaah there you go "wait" guess oil is winning already  :2funny:  :fight:

But it was fun, no doubt!  :yippee:
Carpe Diem!

I think you have done a fantastic job Dolly :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

You have a set of oils now so you may as well use them >:D

You will learn to enjoy the longer blending time with oils. Then you will find yourself starting off with acrylics and finishing of the final touches with oil O0
